Elfin Kitchens provides a 2 year guarantee on your purchased kitchen against the following failures or manufacturing faults for two years from date of purchase.
Corrosion in base unit
Fridge failure
Hotplate failure
Tap failure
In the event a fault has been identified Elfin Kitchens will repair or replace the component that has failed.
If you purchased a unit housing either a combination microwave oven, microwave oven or convection oven, these appliances are guaranteed by the manufacturer and the certificate must be completed and sent to the address on the documentation found with the appliance.
If you experience problems with the fridge within its second year of service, this too is covered by the manufacturer and you will need to contact Elfin Kitchens NZ Ltd on 09 573 1444.
In the event of the fridge not being able to be repaired and it is reported as a genuine failure, Elfin Kitchens NZ Ltd will provide a replacement fridge.
Accidental damage, non-manufacturer’s fault and associated assessment fees, installation, transport, return freight and wear and tear is not covered by this guarantee.
In the event of damage resulting from misuse, most items on your kitchen can be replaced and are happy to provide you a quote for the cost of the damaged component.
This warranty DOES NOT cover:
Service calls to which are not related to any defect in the Product. The cost of a service call will be charged if the problem is not found to be a Product fault. For example:
Correcting the installation of the product.
Instructing you how to use the product.
Replacing house fuses or correct house wiring or plumbing.
Correcting fault(s) caused by the user.
Noise or vibration that is considered normal, e.g. drain/fan sounds, regeneration noises or user warning beeps.
Correcting damage caused by pests, e.g. rats, cockroaches etc.
Defects caused by factors other than:
Normal domestic use or
Use in accordance with the Product’s User Guide.
Defects to the Product caused by accident, neglect, misuse or Act of God.
The cost of repairs carried out by non-authorised repairers or the cost of correcting such unauthorised repairs.
Normal recommended maintenance as set out in the Product’s User Guide.
Repairs when the appliance has been dismantled, repaired or serviced by other than an AUTHORISED CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE or the selling dealer.
